Norval Trip.

On Monday October 23 the whole middle school spent the afternoon at an out door team building field trip. The day started off very slow but after the day went on we all got to know our concealers and it was all right. When we stepped off the bus we put our lunch bags down and started our first activity. When everyone saw our low rope pole, it was a little intimidating. There was a 7 foot pole with a small rubber tier at the bottom.

Our team was very organized at some parts but others everyone was talking g at the same time. I think our group could have done better by taking terns talking. At some points of the day quiet kids didn't have a say in what to do but you could always tell when loud people were talking (Saski and Hannah) no offence. The group i was working with got the tier over the pole so that means we worked well together. It took alot of effort but we did it.

One thing our group did very well was communicating with each other. We all got together in a round shaped huddle and talked about what we are going to do next. If that strategy didn't work we would get back into the circle and brainstorm again. Another thing our group did well was complementing people on what they did. Aj had a great idea and wanted to climb up the pole but sadly his idea didn't work. Instead of telling Aj that his idea was crap we told him it was a good idea and that he did a good job.

Personally I think Norval was fun at sometimes was lame but others like the drum circle was a great time to get together and spend time with each other. Norval is a great place to realize how cool the earth is. All the trees plants and animals we saw was a great experience to me. In conclusion i think Norval was a great experience and an awsome way to learn about everything.
